Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the lighting project in Al Mowrrada 7 areas in Al Suyoh Suburb, where 423 lighting poles were installed, using 20 km long cables with 120-watt energy-saving lamps. The project was completed at a cost of about one million and 711 thousand dirhams.
Engineer Hassan Al Zarouni, Director of the Electricity Services Department explained that the Authority is continuing to implement street and road lighting projects, as part of the vital projects that provide security and safety for residents in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah to promote the sustainable development.
He stressed that the Authority constantly works to implement the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to ensure implementing the road lighting projects in all the regions with applying the latest technologies used in this field.
He has further confirmed that SEWA continues to implement road lighting projects, which provide security and safety to residents in all regions of Sharjah.
Commenting on this, he stressed that the implementation of street lighting projects in the Emirate of Sharjah is carried out through trained asn specialised work teams with using modern equipment according to the best specifications.
