Sharjah 24: An Emirati refereeing team led by Adel Al Naqbi will officiate the Iraq-Saudi Arabia match in the second round of Group A of the Arabian Gulf Cup, on Monday.
The Referees Committee of the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf 25" chose an Emirati referee to manage the match between Iraq and Saudi Arabia in the second round of Group A, Monday, which will be held at Basra International Stadium, at 8:15 pm Emirates time.

The Emirati refereeing crew consists of Adel Al Naqbi as referee for the arena, assisted by Ali Al Nuaimi and Sabt Obaid Al Ali, with Chinese Ma Ning as fourth referee, as well as Emirati Ahmed Issa Darwish and Qatari Abdullah Al Marri as video referees.

The committee also assigned a Kuwaiti refereeing crew, led by Abdullah Jamali, to manage the Oman and Yemen match in the same group, which will be held at the same stadium at 5:15 pm, UAE time.

On a related note, Salem Ali Al Shamsi, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Football Association and Chairman of the Referees Committee, was keen to visit the Emirati international refereeing team participating in the cup.

He wished them success in managing the matches that will be assigned to them during the Gulf Cup, and raising the ceiling of ambitions with effort and focus to reach the management of the final match.
