Commenting on that, SEDD chairman, stated that supporting the national sector and the commercial projects of national entrepreneurs and the domestic industry comes within the Department's strategic plans, which are based on developing economic sectors and working to highlight and support them by all means. Al Suwaidi also pointed out that organizing such exhibitions specialized in presenting and marketing products and services contributes significantly to spreading the culture of entrepreneurship. In addition, he illustrated that the exhibition is considered one of the Department's initiatives that aim to support and encourage national projects among the various groups and involve them with each other in order to exchange experiences and achieve cooperation among them. He added that the aim of holding this exhibition and other marketing exhibitions in various regions of the Emirate is to promote their products and services and help in marketing them, and encourage them to continue and achieve sustainability f
or their projects and introduce them to the public.
Furthermore, Al Suwaidi confirmed that the primary goal is to achieve the comprehensive development plan initiated by the Department. This is done to implement the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the continuous pursuit of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, to the importance of helping citizens to join the market, conduct business, support their ideas, thus to attain success and sustainability according to the standards of global economy and international changes.
Moreover, the SEDD chairman checked the pavilions in the exhibition, where the exhibits were viewed closely, and he talked with their owners to learn about their products. The exhibition also offers a variety of activities for all family members of different age groups. The activities included the participation of Sharjah Museums Authority by organizing hand and craft workshops for children alongside the exhibition.
On the other hand, Ahmed bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department, said that the exhibition promotes a culture of entrepreneurship, introducing entrepreneurial thinking among young people, developing a generation of successful entrepreneurs, and providing them with the tools and knowledge that help them join the commercial field through innovative projects. This is done through depending on scientific foundations and strategies whereas participants present their innovations and creations in an interactive and competitive platform. Al Suwaidi illustrated that SEDD works continuously on enabling citizens who own projects and small and medium enterprises to achieve success in national entrepreneurship in the country in all economic sectors.
Likely, Al Suwaidi emphasized that organizing the exhibition comes as a continuation of SEDD’s efforts to make the best use of exhibitions as one of the best marketing mechanisms that support entrepreneurs. He added that the exhibition will provide many activities, events and products, in addition to being an excellent opportunity for shopping means. It should be noted that 25 exhibitors from owners of various commercial projects are participating in the exhibition, in order to present and display their distinguished commercial products in the areas of family interest, including clothing and fashion, as well as perfumes, incense, handicrafts, distinguished handicrafts, and food.
