The campaign, which was launched Saturday evening, seeks to reduce wrong environmental practices, by launching a set of awareness and entertainment activities and events that continued over two days and targeted all visitors and tourists who go to the Hamriyah Beach Park.
In this regard, Ammar Ali Al Muhairi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at Al Hamriyah Municipality, explained that the environmental campaign achieved a tangible success in achieving the municipality’s environmental message to all target groups of visitors.
For her part, Aisha Sultan Mohammed, head of the utilities management department in the municipality, said that "My Environment... My Responsibility" covered many activities and interactive programmes that brought together all societal groups of visitors to the Al Hamriyah Beach Park, and made them aware of interactive methods with the aim of raising the level of their environmental awareness.
Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, said that the campaign "My Environment... My Responsibility" came to confirm the keenness of the municipality to launch all activities and programmes that enhance environmental awareness among residents, visitors and tourists, pointing to the continuity of the campaign in conjunction with the high turnout of visitors and visitors to the Al Hamriyah Beach Park, public facilities and beaches.
