He gave his statement when hosted in "Aman Ya Beladi" programme, by the Media and Public Relations Department of Sharjah Police, and broadcasted on Sharjah Radio.
The Lieutenant Colonel explained that the plan included sending traffic patrols to all main and internal roads of Sharjah to maintain traffic and celebrations sites security, achieving (zero) casualties.
He also indicated that the 50% discount on traffic fines, valid until January 20, 2023, applies to all traffic violations committed in Sharjah before December 1, 2022, with the cancellation of the period of impoundment of vehicles and registered traffic points, except aggravated violations.
