Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police participated in a prayer on the souls of Emirati martyrs led by His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, on the occasion of Commemoration Day.
The event saw the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, Deputy Commander-in-chief of Sharjah Police, and general directors, deputies, department directors, and staff.
His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, said: "On this glorious day, we stand in tribute to these men, who gave their immortal lives voluntarily, sacrificing for the homeland and defending its soil, so that the flag of the UAE remains high always and forever."
His Excellency added: "This day will remain a shining light and an illuminating path for future generations, so that they know that protecting the homeland is a duty, and dying for it is a medal of pride. May God protect the UAE, may God have mercy on our martyrs, and bless the loyal men of our people."
