SP briefs AD Police on best practices in info security

Sharjah24: Colonel Omar Ali Al Ghazal, Deputy Director of the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police, headed by Major Jassim Ahmed Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Elite Department of the Special Tasks, intending to benchmark and exchange knowledge and experiences in information security.

Major Saeed Zaid Al Khumiri, Director of the Strategy and Excellence Branch at the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, explained the Special Tasks Department’s systems, structure, and mechanisms. In addition, he gave a presentation on security plans and policies in the department. The meeting also discussed several issues that enhance the quality of security life for the community.

The delegation was briefed on the specialised weapons, vehicles, equipment, and supplies used by the Special Task Force in various operations, reflecting the responsive readiness to any kind of situation.
