Sharjah24: His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), received on Thursday at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, His Excellency Moon Byung-jun Consul General of Republic of South Korea in Dubai, in the presence of Her Excellency Alia Al Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau.
Moon Byung-jun expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting the media and cultural sector in general, and his prominent role in leading the development and prosperity process for the Emirate of Sharjah to assume a high global position in culture and knowledge.
The Director General of SGMB, and His Excellency the Consul General of the Republic of South Korea, discussed ways of joint cooperation in the media fields between the Emirate of Sharjah and the Republic of South Korea, in terms of receiving media delegations from South Korea to shed light on the cultural and tourism status of the Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to the work of joint programmes in media fields.

His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay reviewed the programmes and events of the SGMB and its initiatives related to government communication and the media sector in general.
 
Allay pointed out the keenness of the SGMB to support the directions and visions of the Emirate of Sharjah, to show its true image on the pages of the international media, and to convey its message to the world.
His Excellency Moon Byung-jun was briefed on the theater's programmes and annual events, during his tour of the Al Majaz Theater, on the theater's facilities, which is a cultural edifice and an architectural icon, the first of its kind in the region, and one of the most ambitious and important projects in Sharjah and a platform for the artistic, cultural and tourism movement in the Emirate.
