Sharjah Broadcasting Authority signs contract with Abu Dhabi Media

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority has signed a contract with Abu Dhabi Media, the leading public media services company in the UAE.
His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and Abdelrahim Al Nuaimi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi Media signed the contract, according to which the authority obtained the right to broadcast a group of the latest Gulf series through its channels.

This came during the participation of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority in the activities of the World Media Congress, which launched its first edition in Abu Dhabi last Tuesday, and brought together various media institutions in the UAE with the participation of more than 170 media production companies representing more than 29 countries around the world.

His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf stated that the signing of the agreement with Abu Dhabi Media came as a result of participating in the World Media Congress, which represented an opportunity for the authority to hold many meetings with media production institutions at the level of the UAE and the world.

For his part, Abdelrahim Al Nuaimi expressed his happiness at signing this agreement with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, based on the continued keenness to unify efforts and enhance cooperation with other local media institutions that enjoy a distinguished position and great experience in this field. 

It is noteworthy that the contract to purchase the broadcasting right signed between the two sides allows the channels of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and its digital platform the right to broadcast 5 new Gulf dramas with 30 episodes.
