Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Municipal Council and Sharjah Municipality have announced that all necessary updates to their electronic work systems are complete, allowing them to accept requests from the public for the one-year extension of the 50% discount on the late lease contract certification fees for all years and new or renewed contracts until 31/12/2022.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council (SMC), Salem Ali Al Muhairi, has affirmed that the SMC and the Sharjah Municipality are striving to execute all of the Emirate's directives and decisions in order to better serve and facilitate the needs of the local community.
The Director General of Sharjah City Municipality, Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, has stated that there are a total of twelve service centres located throughout the city of Sharjah, some of which are open seven days a week and even in the evenings to accommodate the needs of the city's residents and visitors. He said that the city had been modernising its electronic systems so that customers could ratify contracts quickly and easily via the website. This would allow them to do so regardless of their location.
