Sharjah24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received at his office on Monday morning, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of the UAE Archery Federation, and Hamid Abdullah Al Musharrakh, Secretary-General of the Federation.

The meeting comes with the aim of enhancing fruitful cooperation between the two parties, supporting the sport of bow and arrow, and spreading its culture among the ranks of the General Command and the community of the emirate in order to enhance the quality of life for the community.

The meeting was attended by Lt. Col. Jaber Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Department of the Commander-in-Chief's Office, his deputy, Lt. Col. Abdullah Al Zaabi, and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Deputy Director of the Training Department at the Police Academy in Sharjah.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Al Shamsi welcomed the attendees, praising the efforts made by the Emirates Arch and Arrow Federation to promote and advance this sport locally and internationally, as it is one of the priority sports that enhances competitiveness among many countries of the world .

The meeting discussed a number of issues of the Emirati sports , such as promoting the sport of bow and arrow among Sharjah Police employees and coordinating the logistical support for the Asian Arch and Arrow Championship's third phase, which will take place from 20 to 25 of December .

For his part, Dr. Saeed Musabeh Al Kaabi expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, praising the remarkable efforts made by the Sharjah Police General Command in supporting various sports activities, promoting sports awareness and making them a way of life.
