Salem bin Abdulrahman honours University City Cup winners

Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Academy, stressed that organising the tournament with the participation of all colleges and universities in Sharjah University City aims to enhance the physical and mental fitness level of students and employees and to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the academic authorities in the emirate.
The tournament included several sports competitions in football, volleyball, tug of war, sprinting, and padel tennis, held from October 17 to November 2.

306 players participated in the tournament, representing the University of Sharjah, Al Qasimia University, the American University of Sharjah (AUS), Higher Colleges of Technology, Skyline University College, and the PSA, where AUS team won the General Excellence Cup.
After that, Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman honored the teams that achieved top three in all competitions, congratulating them, the coaches, the administrators, and all members of the organising committee. Finally, he took memorial photos with the winning teams.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the PSA; Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University; and several others.
