Sharjah Public Works celebrates Flag Day

Sharjah24: Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) and its branches in the central and eastern regions shared the joys of the Emirati leadership and people by celebrating Flag Day.

The Department hoisted the UAE flag, Thursday morning at 11, in the presence of Eng. Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Executive Council Member and Chairman of SDPW, and other employees.

Al Suwaidi stressed that the Department's celebration of the Flag Day reflects the solid cohesion of the UAE citizens and their loyalty to the wise leadership. The UAE flag sets an example among nations in unity, progression, and development.

The celebration included several activities, most notably the preparation of an introductory video on the patriotic and symbolic meaning of Flag Day.
