Al Dhahouri pointed out that this wise vision, led by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, gives confidence that future generations will enjoy a prosperous social and economic environment, and that the journey will continue with a spirit of giving and responsibility.
This came on the occasion of the launch of the Sharjah Family and Community Council and the three Emiri decrees establishing pioneering institutions under its umbrella. This reflects the integrated and forward-looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, towards building the individual and the family as a key pillar of comprehensive and sustainable development.
Al Dhahouri added that this strategic step represents a qualitative shift in institutional work in Sharjah, as the Council brings together, under its umbrella, the accumulated experience and efforts of more than 40 years in serving the family and community, within an integrated framework that ensures coordination of roles, unification of vision, and maximisation of the positive impact of initiatives and programmes.
Al Dhahouri explained that the establishment of the Child Safety, the Sharjah Family Development, and the Sharjah Hospitality Group reflects a working methodology based on investing in people and protecting national values and identity, while simultaneously developing an environment that supports economic and social growth.
Al Dhahouri pointed out that these institutions will contribute to building an aware, creative, and qualified generation for the future, while ensuring the provision of integrated services that support families, stimulate creativity, and keep pace with modern requirements.
Al Dhahouri confirmed that linking these institutions to the Sharjah Family and Community Council ensures harmony and integration between societal and economic objectives, such that returns from investment projects are directed towards supporting humanitarian and development initiatives, achieving sustainability, and strengthening Sharjah's position as a regional and global hub in the fields of culture, education, and community service.
