Sharjah 24: At the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair, which will take place from November 2nd to November 13th, 2022, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) will showcase almost 500 volumes covering a wide range of topics related to cultural heritage, including several that have not yet been published.
According to Sharjah Institute for Heritage Chairman, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, "The Institute's comprehensive and integrated cultural vision, which aims to provide the cultural scene with useful resources that take into account scientific standards and academic regulatory requirements, is consistent with the Sharjah Cultural Project and in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah."
According to Dr. Mani Bounaama, Director of Content and Publication Department at the Sharjah Heritage Institute, the Institute's efforts have resulted in the publication of more than 500 unique titles in many disciplines of cultural heritage, and the Institute has received a number of significant awards, including the Sharjah International Book Fair Awards, in the two categories of the best book in the field of studies, and the best printed book about the Emirates.
In addition to adopting and sponsoring important publishing initiatives, the Institute has developed illustrious collaborations with several intellectual, cultural, and educational organisations at the local, Arab, and worldwide levels.
