Sharjah Institute for Heritage showcases publications at SIBF

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, announced that the Institute is presenting over 40 publications at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), held from November 5 to 16 at Expo Centre Sharjah. The showcase includes the launch of a new journal titled Al Markaz Two.

Launch of "Al Markaz Two" Journal

Dr Al Musallam explained that Al Markaz Two is published by the International Centre for Capacity Building in the Arab World, affiliated with UNESCO. The journal complements the Institute's existing two publications and provides peer-reviewed studies that enhance research in cultural heritage.

Focus on dictionaries, encyclopedias, and heritage research

The Institute’s participation emphasises its series of dictionaries and encyclopedias, covering topics such as architectural heritage, regional terminology, and everyday language. Dr Al Musallam highlighted that the pavilion attracts many visitors and researchers, offering reliable resources for documentation, research, and study.

Commitment to preserving cultural heritage

Dr Al Musallam affirmed the Institute’s ongoing dedication to publishing reference works that support the preservation and transmission of heritage to future generations.
