SPEA hosts “Scientific Forum for Talent"

Sharjah24: A group of experts, specialists, and researchers in the fields of education and education of the gifted participated in the "Scientific Forum for Talent," which was held last Saturday at the Sharjah Academy's headquarters in collaboration with the Hamdan Bin Rashid Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, "one of the leading institutions in the field of care and education of the gifted."
At the forum, professors and parents of gifted students talked about the latest studies and research on how to find and help gifted people. They also went to a series of seminars.
 
Abdullah Al-Marzouqi, an educational advisor for the Sharjah Private Education Authority, said that holding the forum with the Hamdan Bin Rashid Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance was in line with the authority's vision and strategy to improve the quality of life in the educational community and spread knowledge.
 
Dr Jamal Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Secretary General of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance, said that the forum was important because it was one of the talent forums in the region.
 
Anoud Al Amiri, Head of Learners Care and Activities Department at the Sharjah Private Education Authority, said, "We are happy to work with the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance to organise the forum. We deeply believe that these events play a key role in supporting and nurturing the talented and developing education through qualified specialists in the educational sector in a way that meets the needs."
 
At the event, experts and specialists from Arab and international universities gave a number of scientific workshops and lectures.
