The work of the specialised training week continues over a whole week, with five daily sessions, one session extending to approximately five training hours, targeting 60 trainees from school leaders. The training week focuses on providing school administrations with various mechanisms and strategies for preparing the school improvement agenda and training priorities for schools.
The Sharjah Private Education Authority believes in the capabilities of cadres in educational institutions and their ability to enrich the work environments in its schools in order to achieve the objectives of its development strategy and reach distinct outputs.
Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, explained that the Professional Development Week comes in line with the authority’s strategies aimed at achieving a sustainable educational system in all private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah, aligned with the directives and visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who supports and develops the educational sector in the emirate.
It is worth to mention that the authority, in cooperation with an international evaluation company, is preparing to conduct a quality review of the performance of all private schools in the emirate during the current academic year, which fall under the Itqan programme in accordance with the approved framework for school evaluation in the country.
