Sharjah24: Al Subaiha Suburb Council (ASSC) in Khorfakkan, affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, discussed various topics related to the work of the General Directorate of Civil Defense (GDCD) and the work it undertakes aimed at preserving the safety of lives and property.
This came during the meeting of the Council at its headquarters Khorfakkan with those in charge of the GDCD branch in Khorfakkan, discussed various aspects of enhancing cooperation and joint work in order to promote efforts between the Subaiha District Council and the GDCD staff, ensuring the safety of residents and maintaining their wellbeing.
Commenting on this, Khaled Al-Shehhi, head of Al Subaiha District Council, has expressed his pleasure in meeting with those in charge of the branch of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Khorfakkan, stressing the importance of such meetings. He has further highlighted the Council’s role in achieving the families’ safety across various residential neighborhoods., calling on the joint coordination in various programs to ensure the safety of society.
During the meeting, the attendees discussed a number of common work topics, enhancing more joint plans in organising awareness activities.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of providing awareness brochures for the firefighting system that benefit the people, in addition to offering programs that ensure direct communication with the people of the area.
