Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has replaced more than 60% of the metres on Sharjah's electrical network with smart metres, having installed 19,154 smart metres this year.

Dr. Eng. Hassan Al Zarooni, Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, confirmed that the authority is continuing to implement development projects, use the most up-to-date devices and applications, and deploy smart metres across the Emirate.
