Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) held a meeting with Sharjah Municipality (SM) to exchange experiences in using the best and advanced engineering electronic programs that help develop and accelerate the mechanism for approving schemes and best practices to develop engineers' skills and gain new engineering experiences.
Eng. Ibrahim Al-Balgouni, Director of Shared Services Department at Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, explained that the engineering programs used in approving the schemes at SEWA and used in the Building Permits Department in Sharjah City Municipality were reviewed, and a standard comparison was made between the two programs, identifying the advantages and challenges, and identifying strengths and weaknesses.
He stressed that the authority is keen on developing its procedures and providing the best services to subscribers with high quality and efficiency, facilitating procedures, developing services and ensuring their continuity with high quality for the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah.
He pointed out that a number of Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority's Shared Services Department engineers were trained on the Bluebeam program to provide them with new skills, stressing the authority's keenness to review best practices and provide advanced programs for managing daily operations, following up on projects, automating schemes approval processes and receiving service delivery requests.
