Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) participated in the events organised by the Sharjah Museums Authority under the motto "Space and Sustainability" to celebrate the World Space Week at the Sharjah Science Museum with the aim of promoting the concept of sustainability and spreading a culture of energy conservation for visitors and students of schools and universities from 4 - 8 October.
Rashid Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director of the Conservation Department at the SEWA, explained that the authority’s participation was represented in receiving visitors and school and university students in the rationalization corner of the Sharjah Science Museum, which was launched by the authority to raise awareness of taking all measures related to rationalizing consumption within the authority’s vision and strategy and its commitment to social responsibility and awareness of the optimal use of energy and water .
He stressed that the authority is keen to participate in spreading the culture of rationalization by participating in various events, cooperating with all government agencies and private companies, and encouraging them to use guiding tools, follow correct behaviors, achieve sustainable development, and raise awareness of the optimal use of energy through programs that suit all segments of society and age groups.
