Sharjah24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is one of several organisations from across the world participating in MIPCOM 2022, the International Market of Communications Programmes, which began on May 14 and will run until October 20 in the French city of Cannes.
The authority intends to receive exposure to the most recent international programming productions, network with a diverse group of entertainment programme creators from across the world and learn about the most effective industry standards by participating in the exhibition.

The authority also looks forward to and will present a number of the authority's television and cinema programmes, including the Film "Khor Fakkan," which details the resistance put up by its inhabitants during a Portuguese invasion in 1507 AD. The film is based on the historical book, Khor Fakkan's Resistance Against the Portuguese Invasion of September 1507, written by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Within the exhibition "Sharjah Safari," the authority will also display its most current documentary work. The film depicts the many stages of construction of the project, which cost around DH1 billion, as well as the diverse animals found in the largest safari park outside of Africa.

The authority is represented at the exhibition by a delegation of production managers and officials, including Hind Al-Saidi, Director of the Follow-up Office, Shuruq Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Programmes Procurement Department, Nawal Al-Naqbi, Director of Al Sharqiya Channel Programmes from Kalba, Ashraf Ali, Programme Manager of Al Wusta Channel from Al Dhaid, TV Programme Evaluation and Selection Manager, and Mohamed Ahmed, Events Executive.
