Sharjah24: The mosques of the Central Region hosted “Katateeb” Programme, organised by the Department of Culture in cooperation with the Islamic Affairs Department in the Central Region, in conjunction with the 10th Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, to teach students Arabic calligraphy skills, types, and arts.

Dr. Jamal Youssef Al Zarouni, Head of the Preaching Department in the Office of the Islamic Affairs Department in the Central Region, stated exclusively to "Sharjah 24" that the programme is being held in 4 mosques in the central region, which are Ammar bin Yasir Mosque in Al Dhaid, Mleiha Mosque, Kaab Ibn Murrah Mosque in Al Madam, and Al Rushd Mosque in Al Bataeh. The programme runs for two months, from the afternoon till the evening.
