Sharjah24: The office of the Department of Islamic Affairs in the Central Region organised religious councils to raise awareness of Al Hajj in all mosques in the Central Region of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Dr. Jamal Yousef Al-Zarouni, head of the preaching department in the office of the Department of Islamic Affairs in the Central Region, stressed that the religious councils aim to educate pilgrims and worshipers on the jurisprudence of Hajj and Umrah.

In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", he explained that the councils are being held in their ninth session, and they deal with several topics, including: sincerity in the worship of Hajj, the importance of following the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, the temporal and spatial timings, the pillars and duties of Hajj, and the actions of the day of Tarwiyah, the Day of Arafa and the days of Hajj and others.
