Sharjah 24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) organised a workshop titled building an “Institutional Flexibility System” as part of its preparation to obtain the ISO 22316:2017 international accreditation certificate, in which a number of employees participated with the aim of adopting institutional capabilities and flexibility in government work in order to develop the work system and apply best institutional practices and enhance the quality of life of the community.
Aisha Hussein Abdullah, Director of Strategy and Institutional Development at SEWA, confirmed that the authority is working to develop the capabilities of human cadres and the work system in the field of institutional flexibility, in line with the directions of the wise leadership in the Emirate of Sharjah.

She indicated that the authority's strategy focuses on enhancing the continuity of its business through uninterrupted improvement in the field of the authority's ability to respond to global trends and the need for change in a manner that ensures its stability, enhances organisational agility and develops the innovative capabilities of its employees, which contribute to managing and improving the main and subsidiary processes to continuous development of performance through gradual and innovative changes, recognising the importance of diverse nature and efficiency.

She explained that the authority is seeking to obtain the approval of ISO 22316:2017 in the field of institutional flexibility, which supports the system of excellence and institutional development and raises the efficiency of strategic plans.
