Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), in cooperation with the Department of Awqaf in Sharjah, launched "Barakat Al Dar" project, which is an ongoing charity to support shelters for senior citizens and children's.
Dr. Abdullah Al Ketbi, director of the Mleiha branch, stated that the initiative was launched on the 30th of last September, and will last for 3 years, during we are working to collect donations to build a charitable endowment consisting of a multi-storey building.
Al Ketbi stated that the department is in the process of sending messages to various private, governmental and semi-governmental departments and institutions, inviting them to contribute and support "Barakat Al-Dar", and it has provided many methods of contribution, namely text messages to du and Etisalat subscribers, and the department's bank account.
