In honour of senior citizens, SSSD holds celebration

Sharjah24: On October 1, the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) hosted a celebration in the Sharjah Elderly Care Home with the involvement of several local institutions, male and female students from all grades, and a delegation of students from The University of Sharjah.

Maryam Al Qatari, the director of the home, has expressed her gratitude to the participating departments, including the General Department of Civil Defence, the Sharjah Chess Club, the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (SDSVA), the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, for helping to get the programmes back on track after the outbreak.
