Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, confirmed that sport is a "life system", and an important requirement in maintaining a healthy life, and an essential value of building the individual and society.
This came during his participation in the activities of the first Sports Traffic Officers Forum, which was held Monday evening at the Police Officers Club, in the presence of Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations; Lt. Col. Mohammed Allay Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, and a large number of officers working in the Traffic Department.
Major General Al Shamsi underlined the importance of these sports events and activities in creating an ideal practical environment in which everyone meets, creating friendly relations based on harmony, and an opportunity to get out of daily work pressures, stressing the continuation of the police leadership in all its sectors in supporting the sports environment, in a manner that enhances the quality of life for its members.
Lt. Col. Mohammed Allay Al Naqbi said: z”The first traffic sports day was organised to be a permanent occasion to meet with police leaders, and to motivate employees to continue to practice sport, as it is an important and authentic part of the policeman’s life that helps him perform his duties efficiently. ,”
The participants in the forum also expressed their great happiness with this sport gathering.
The forum concluded with an open meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in which he listened to participants’ observations and development ideas in the traffic field to improve performance to the best standards in serving clients and making society happy.
