Sharjah24: Aman Ya Bladi programme , prepared by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Sharjah Police, discussed a number of various security topics on Monday , under the title "Sharjah Police Research Center.. A Leading Security Encyclopedia", presented by First Lieutenant Saud Busim.
The guest of the programme, Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Maleeh, Head of the Scientific Research Department at the Police Research Center, spoke about the development of the Research Center, which was an organizational unit in 1989, and passed through several structural stages until it became a leading center in police scientific research in 2011, Specialized in security research studies, and includes a group of specialized divisions in the cognitive, security, traffic, and legal fields.
Lieutenant-Colonel Al-Maleeh added: "The Research Center supports researchers as a whole and is not limited to a specific group or entity, which aligned with the vision of the Government of Sharjah that scientific giving has no limits, noting that the "Support Researchers" programme, under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police is an essential supporter of researchers from the General Command .
For his part, Lt. Colonel Fahd Al-Hamoudi, Head of the Cooperation and Scientific Support Department at the Police Research Center, spoke about the approved organizational structure of the center, and its tasks. He also discussed the competence of the Scientific Support Department concerned with launching companies with all governmental and scientific institutions, supporting current studies, and presenting conferences and scientific seminars related to scientific research.
