The programme is held in various centers in the city of Sharjah and the Central and Eastern Regions, and targets the 8- to 12-year-olds of the centres' affiliates.
During the programme, children were introduced to the most important basic skills in diction, delivering workshops, appearing before the public, and dealing with different types and styles, as well as techniques for creating creative and innovative ideas during presentation, which mix between fun, interest and learning at the same time, and contribute to creating a bridge for interaction between the trainer and the recipient. They also learned how to manage and divide time during presentation and the need to diversify the methods used in this regard, and to use interactive games as well as opening discussion and dialogue to attendees and asking questions.
On the other hand, the participants in the practical side were able to apply the skills they acquired in the programme by displaying their talents in preparing workshops, purposeful projects and various presentations.
It is worth noting that the “Skilled Trainer” aims to enable children to understand the art of leadership, speech and presentation, as well as enhancing their self-confidence, breaking the barrier of fear when facing the public, and providing them with leadership skills that qualify them to become qualified trainers and successful leaders in the future.
