The President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Dr Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, said, "The large number of women in society has had a positive and forward-looking effect on life in the Emirates, from caring for and building families to a thriving local economy."
Aisha Ghabish, who is in charge of events and activities at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, said, "Emirati Women's Day is a way to thank the wise leadership for the successes Emirati women have had in different fields without giving up their heritage and identity, and with a promise to be an active partner in giving and giving."
She talked about the fruitful partnership between the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Al Qasimi Publications, which resulted in providing copies of the book "Essential Messages" by the wife of Sharjah's Ruler, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, to the Institute for the celebration. A film made by the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Family Council showed what Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher had done.
The programme includes a high-quality package of interactive activities and events, such as heritage and creative workshops, made just for institution staff from all departments.
