Sharjah 24: The Eastern Region Police Services Centre, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department of the Eastern Region Police Department, organised a “focus groups” session in the presence of Colonel Dr. Ali Al Ki Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, with the participation of a group of community members.
The session underlines the keenness of the Sharjah Police to develop its services provided to members of society, and to achieve the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing customers’ happiness with the services delivered.
Lt. Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al Kabouri, Head of Traffic and Patrols Department at the Eastern Region Police Department, said that “focus groups” was organised with customers in order to identify the requirements necessary to provide the finest services and crystallise them in a tangible practical reality, which is evident through our endeavour to monitor customers' opinions, suggestions and reactions, and improve their experience and to identify their future needs, noting that all inquiries related to the services provided to them were discussed and raised during the session, especially with regard to the home reservation service for vehicles, the service of permits related to the closure of a street, the concrete pouring service, and the tent permit service.
The attendees enriched the discussion by presenting a set of positive ideas and proposals that contribute to the improvement of police services. The session resulted in a number of recommendations that will be studied, classified and included in an integrated action plan.
For their part, the attendees expressed their happiness to participate in the session, praising the efforts of the Sharjah Police and the Eastern Region Police Department in holding such sessions to hear the customer’s voice, and their continuous keenness to provide the best to make customers happy.
