Sharjah 24: Colonel Dr. Ali Al-Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, confirmed that the external roads linking the city of Sharjah with the cities of the Eastern Region have been reopened to traffic at 100%, including the Sharjah-Kalba Road and the Sharjah-Khorfakkan Road, in addition to the internal streets in Khorfakkan. Traffic has also returned to normal in the Shis and Nahwa areas.
While many internal streets in the city of Kalba have been reopened, the specialised work teams continue their efforts to open the remaining streets in the city to traffic as soon as possible.
Colonel Al Hamoudi indicated that the specialised teams removed all the obstacles that the rain had recently left in the area during the past week, praising the efforts of the strategic partners of Sharjah Police who worked around the clock, and the cooperation of community members who stood hand in hand with the work teams, to overcome this crisis.
