Sharjah 24: The 20th Hassad Volunteer Camp of the Sharjah Social Services Department was launched under the slogan "We Volunteer for Sharjah" targeting children of the age group from 6 to 12 years old. The activities of the camp will run until July 28.
The camp will cover exciting and edutainment activities and workshops of great importance and benefit to children in various walks of life. The activities highlight sustainable environment, respect of the elderly, cooperation, loyalty and social intelligence, as well as other interesting activities.
Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of the Department of Community Cohesion in the SSSD, hailed partners’ contribution to this event, which stems from their belief in the importance of social responsibility and its reflection on the advancement of societies, especially as it aims to invest the children’s leisure time, specifically during the school holidays, in addition to instilling voluntary values in children.
