Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) has approved its committees responsible for organising tournaments and events for the 2022-2023 season, as part of its work plan aimed at preserving the gains seen in previous versions of the champions.

The Council's Chairman, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, stated that the Council took the initiative to form the committees in order to begin their work early and provide all the guarantees required for success, as well as to maintain the reputation of Sharjah in light of the care and support that sports enjoy from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah.

Al-Hazami noted that the upcoming season will be full of championships and events, during which new initiatives will be launched to elevate the status of sports in the Emirate and meet more youth hobbies and interests, stressing that the Council will provide all support, powers, and facilities to the organising committees.
