Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) signed a memorandum of understanding with Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defense to coordinate and cooperate in terms of exchanging services and achieving common interests, within the framework of the strategic objectives and vision of the government of the UAE and the government of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC, and His Excellency Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, on Wednesday.

Following the signing of the MoU, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazzami stated that SSC is keen to coordinate and cooperate with all UAE authorities in general and in the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, explaining that the memorandum signed with the General Directorate of Civil Defense would consolidate work plans and programmes to achieve the common interests of both parties. 

His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazzami added that the MoU will provide services to the targeted beneficiaries with higher efficiency and quality, and while the partnership between both sides exists and continues effectively, but the memorandum will ensure more success in terms of services and tasks entrusted to each party. He also stressed that the work team that will be formed from representatives of the two sides to ensure the achievement of goals Which will be covered by joint plans and programmes, in addition to increasing preventive awareness and general culture regarding rescue missions and the protection of lives and facilities.
