The Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services Alumni Association, which will serve as the city's alumni gathering hub, was revealed as part of the media meeting.
According to Dr Hanadi Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director of the Masarat Centre for Development and Empowerment, the purpose of the media gathering was to show the community the skills and abilities of students with disabilities as well as the experiences they gained through the "BTEC" Continuing Education Programme.
"Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services places a high value on the education of people with disabilities, and one of the most important goals of the continuing education programme is to ensure the promotion of this right, as well as the continuous development of personal and professional skills," she said.
