During the celebration, the championship winners were crowned in 3 Group competitions in basketball, handball and volleyball, and 7 individual competitions in taekwondo, karate, table tennis, judo, athletics, chess, and swimming.
Wasit School was crowned first for schools for the largest proportion of citizens, followed by the Emirates American School, while Knowledge International School won first place for schools for the largest proportion of expatriates, followed by Delhi Indian School, each of which received a financial prize of 25 thousand dirhams.
The championship competitions, which started on May 13, witnessed great success thanks to the intensity of participation and the strength of the competition. 700 male and female students from 37 public and private schools participated in them.
His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Member of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, praised this continuous cooperation between the Council and the Sharjah Sports Council in many events and programs that continued with the championship in its fourth year.
