Children who are passionate and willing to self-learn are encouraged to apply. All submissions will be assessed on the basis of the answers and their interests in animation, and only a limited number will be chosen for the training programme. They are vetted on their hobbies and skills, the apps and software they use and examples of their work made using them; storyboard or concepts they would like to animate; and are invited to pitch their ideas if selected.
Selected applicants are expected to be available for the full duration of the programme ¬- 24 sessions - for successful graduation. One-and-a-half to two-hour sessions will be conducted three times a week for the trainees.
The mentorship programme is for participants with existing knowledge and familiarity with 2D animation. The trainees will be helped to develop and execute their concepts into an animated idea. Participants should have the animation software they are familiar with and the devices to work on. Those interested can make their registration at https://funn.ae/mentorship-funn/.
