Sharjah24:The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) will host the annual "Stop Violence" event on the 8th of this month at the Sheraton Hotel in Sharjah. The event's theme is "Towards Professional Protection," and it will bring together institutions that care about children, people who protect them, and people who work in childcare.
The Director of Government Communications, Maha Al Ali, says, "Stop Violence" event is one of the department's most important annual events because it translates the department's vision to improve care for children, provide a safe environment for them, and protect them at all stages of their childhood."
"Protection and Professionalism," this year's theme, focuses on promoting the mental health and social connections of children in order to build a safer and more sustainable future for them.
Taking place on the same day as International Day for Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, the event is sure to be memorable.
The workshop for the event looks at technical, training, logistical, academic, and connected area needs.
