The interviews were conducted in the Wasit Suburb Council, in the presence of a delegation from Sharjah Police, to select those they deem fit and employ them according to the institution’s needs.
The initiative targets age groups less than 45 years old who are able to work, and it will be available to government and private institutions in the emirate to raise the level of training, qualification and performance development.
Amna Al Hammadi, Director of the “Tamkeen” Office at the SSSD, confirmed that the "Tamkeen" programme is one of the programmes that have been launched to qualify some groups who are eligible for social security to lead them to a decent living, rehabilitate them and hone their skills to be able to obtain available jobs, whether in government or other entities.
She indicated that the “Tamkeen” initiative contributes to providing a decent living for the beneficiaries of the insurance, by enrolling them in employment and training programmes. The programme provides the required expertise, and employment is completed through a cooperative contract of 11 months.
The contract is automatically renewed according to the desire of the beneficiary and the government or other entity, and is recommended by the Sharjah Department of Human Resources to give the beneficiary priority in the recruitment process.
