Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) said on Sunday that its "Joud" Ramadan campaign helped more than 1.5 million families and eligible groups, with a total value of 85 million dirhams in internal and external initiatives.

Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the SCI's Board of Directors, thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his great support of the charitable work and the donors. He also praised the efforts of the work teams.

He made it clear that the "Joud" campaign is just the start of a huge plan that will be carried out over the next few years.

According to Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ramadan campaign initiatives came to underline the ideals of social solidarity and profound community care, as well as opening the doors of volunteering for those who want to join in community service.
