Sharjah 24: Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
He also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Their Highnesses Sheikhs, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and crown princes, on the occasion, praying to God Almighty to grant the UAE wise leadership with goodness and blessings and the UAE with prosperity.

Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi thanked the members of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International, and all its employees for their efforts during the holy month of Ramadan, which had a great impact in the implementation of all the programmes and projects that were announced as part of the Ramadan campaign, which benefited many needy individuals and families registered with the SCI.

Sheikh Saqr noted that the SCI succeeded in providing all forms of support and assistance, through a package of various projects and initiatives covered by the campaign, which came with allocations exceeding AED80 million, and the provision of more than 1.2 million Iftar meals, in addition to zakat, zakat Al Fitr, Eid clothing and the Ramadan baskets, settlement of  number of inmates’ pending debts, all of  which brought joy and happiness to the needy and the poor families.
