Sharjah 24: The publishing houses participating in the 13th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) praised the great support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the publishing sector and book makers, appreciating His Highness's allocation of 2.5 million dirhams to enrich libraries with the latest publications of the festival.
The publishing houses expressed their thanks to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, for the great and continuous attention he attaches to the publishing sector and the book industry.
They emphasised that the grant of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to support libraries with the festival’s latest publications, contribute to the advancement of Arab culture, especially books for children and young people.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, the publishers stated that Sharjah assumed a global position, worthy of being a mecca for writers and innovators in various fields, especially in the field of publishing and distribution.
