Sharjah24: The "Sports Before Iftar" event concluded, on Sunday, at Al Hamriya Beach, held under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC).

The event took place on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week during the holy month of Ramadan.

The "Sports before Iftar" saw a large turnout of sports enthusiasts over a period of 4 weeks, with a total of 12 sessions, each one for an hour.

Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, Board Member of Al Hamriya Cultural and Sports Club and Chairman of the Club's Cultural and Community Committee, said that the aim of this event is to encourage exercise as a means of maintaining health and fitness.

Al Muhairi extended his thanks to SSC for its sponsorship of the "Sports before Iftar" event, and for its effective role in adopting sports as a lifestyle.
