Sharjah24: Al Hamriya Cultural and Sports Club launched "Rationalization Fund" initiative, in two phases, which comes as part of the club's initiatives to enhance the level of awareness of the importance of rationalizing the consumption of water and electricity.
The first phase of the initiative was implemented in the Hamriyah Suburb Council, which included senior figures in the area, and the second included the rest of the community.
The “Rationalization Fund ” contains filters for water taps and energy-saving “ELD” lamps, in addition to an awareness brochure on the importance of using the conserving pieces, the quantities of water and the volume of consumption they provide.
Dr. Sultan Fayez, the club’s advisor for quality and institutional excellence, said that the aim of this initiative is to urge members of society to acquire sustainable tools, given their contribution to reducing consumption and its effective and significant role in the sustainability of the resources of future generations.
The "Rationalization Fund" initiative received great praise from the beneficiaries, and they also praised the efforts and initiatives of the Hamriyah Club in the field of rationalizing water and electricity consumption and maintaining a sustainable environment.
