Sharjah 24: According to the director of the Sharjah Charity International’s (SCI) Office of Volunteering and Community Service, Aisha Al-Huwaidi, "Eid Sweets" has been introduced in Al Bayan Hall of the Sharjah Women's Union Society, to give treats to families who otherwise would not have the opportunity to enjoy them.

In accordance with His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, all families are encouraged to take part in this initiative, which aims to distribute to those in need, those who are ill or the families of inmates, as well as people with disabilities.
