Sharjah 24: As part of its Ramadan activities and in line with the “Irtiqaa” initiative, the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated to the Sharjah Education Council, launched a competition for memorising Dhikr, which targets community members and is part of the activities of its Events Committee.
Safia Hassan Al Nuaimi, General Coordinator of the competition, said that the competition is part of the "Irtiqaa" initiative, which aims to build individuals with high capabilities of innovation and excellence.
She added that the competition had conditions commensurate with the target age groups in cooperation with the Islamic Affairs Office in Dibba Al Hisn. The participating age groups were identified from 10-18 years and 19-65 years.
She indicated that the first five winners for each category to be honoured with cash. In addition to participation certificates for all participants. A committee formed by the Department of Islamic Affairs will judge the participants before the end of Ramadan.
