Sharjah 24: To consolidate bonds of communication, Dibba Al Hisn parents council, affiliated to the Sharjah Education Council, organised a Ramadan meeting that included a sports and heritage aspects within a Ramadan family atmosphere under the slogan “Our gathering is nice in Ramadan to advance the virtuous city”.
The programme included a heritage exhibition on the sidelines of the forum and the implementation of sports competitions in table tennis and billiards, held in the social club of the council.
The meeting was attended by a group of community figures, headed by His Excellency Tariq Khalfan Al Ghoul Al Salami, member of the UAE Federal National Council, His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Yaroof Al Naqbi, President of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al Hisn, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Bani Rashid, President of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, Mr. Saud Tamim Al Riyami, Vice President of the Council, and Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Ghasib Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Excellence and Development Committee in the Council.
Winners of the sports competitions were honoured, where Tariq Khalfan Al Ghoul won the first place cup in billiards, and Saeed Mohammed Al Watri won the first place cup in table tennis. Afterwards, Suhoor was organised by the Council in honour of the attendees.
The attendees praised the initiative held by the Parents Council.
